Our Method
WVS Rowlett Family Swim School teaches the most effective Swim Progression method known, using a nationally certified teaching progression developed by this nation’s top swim coaches. Our goal is to teach your child to swim quickly and proficiently and learn to love swimming for health, safety, fun, and fitness. Students advance quickly but at their own pace, meaning they learn new skills as soon as they master the currently taught ones. Student advancements are not affected by other children in their class, etc. Students advance quickly from water adaptation to very advanced swimming skills.
Guarantee Swim Program
At Waterview Swim School, we take pride in our expertise and dedication to helping individuals learn to swim. That’s why we are confident enough to offer a Learn-to-Swim Guarantee for all our young students.
So, what exactly is our Learn-to-Swim Guarantee? It’s straightforward and designed to ensure your child’s success. We guarantee that with the guidance of our highly skilled instructors, children aged four or older will develop the ability to swim unassisted back to the pool edge after being dropped into the water by their instructor. This achievement will be reached by completing our guarantee-to-swim package, which consists of a minimum of 12 Private Lessons.
However, we understand that every child learns at their own pace, and some may require a little more time to reach this critical milestone. That’s why, if needed, we provide up to four additional private lessons, each lasting 30 minutes, at no extra cost. We are committed to supporting your child until they confidently accomplish the goal of swimming independently.

Absences/Courtesy Lessons
At Waterview Swim School – WVS Rowlett, we prioritize continuity in our proven curricula. Attending the scheduled weekly class time is the best path for your students’ success. We understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected challenges our way. However, due to our commitment to maintaining a strict student-to-teacher ratio and ensuring full classes, missed lessons can be made up through our Courtesy Lesson program.
Our Courtesy Lesson program allows students to make up missed classes and keep their progress on track. While there is a nominal $15 fee per courtesy lesson, it helps us maintain instruction quality and ensure a fair opportunity for all students to participate in our classes.
The Courtesy Lesson program is designed to support our students in maintaining their learning momentum and reaching their swimming goals. It is important to schedule make-up lessons in advance to secure a spot, as availability may be limited due to the high demand for our classes.
