Sally and Max go to the Moon

    16 Feb 2026 Sally & Max's Adventures

Once upon a time, Sally and Max were two best friends who loved swimming. They spent most of their summer days at the local pool, swimming and having fun. One day, while they were swimming, they looked up at the sky and saw the moon shining bright.

Sally had an idea. “Max, what if we go to the moon?” she asked.

Max was surprised by her question but excited by the idea. “That would be amazing!” he replied.

So, Sally and Max decided to take a journey to the moon. They knew that it would be a long and difficult journey, but they were determined to make it happen.

The first step was to build a spaceship. They found some old Amazon cardboard boxes and used them to make an Amazing spaceship. Sally drew some buttons on the cardboard and pretended they were the controls to fly the spaceship.

Next, they needed some special swim gear. Sally and Max put on their goggles and fins, ready to swim to the moon. They took a deep breath and dived into the pool, swimming as fast as they could.

As they swam, they imagined themselves flying through space, dodging asteroids and zooming past stars. They swam and swam until they finally reached the moon.

Sally and Max were amazed by the moon’s beauty. They saw the craters and mountains, and they even saw some footprints left by astronauts who had visited the moon before.

They swam around the moon, taking in all its beauty, and then it was time to head back to Earth. They swam back to their cardboard spaceship, and Sally pressed the buttons she had drawn to take off.

As they flew back to Earth, Sally and Max laughed and talked about all the things they had seen on their journey to the moon. They knew it was an adventure they would never forget.

When they arrived back at the pool, their friends were amazed to see Sally and Max in their cardboard spaceship. They asked where they had been, and Sally replied, “We went to the moon!”

Everyone laughed and smiled, knowing that Sally and Max had just had the most amazing adventure. From that day on, Sally and Max knew that anything was possible, and they continued to dream big and have fun swimming.
