Sally and Max go to Nasa

    16 Feb 2026 Sally & Max's Adventures

Once upon a time, Sally and Max were excited to visit their Aunt Joanne. Aunt Joanne was an engineer at NASA and best friends of their mom Kim and Aunt Kelly. Sally and Max had heard so much about Aunt Joanne’s exciting work at NASA, and they couldn’t wait to learn more.

When they arrived at Aunt Joanne’s house, they found her working on a new project in her home office. Aunt Joanne loved to invent and engineer things, and she was always super busy working on something new and exciting.

Sally and Max were curious and asked Aunt Joanne what she was working on. Aunt Joanne explained that she was designing a new spacesuit for astronauts to wear on their trips to Mars. Sally and Max were amazed, and Aunt Joanne promised to show them more later.

After lunch, Aunt Kelly suggested they all go swimming in the pool. Sally and Max were thrilled, and Aunt Joanne agreed to come along. She said that swimming was an important part of being an astronaut, as they have to learn how to swim in case they need to land in the ocean.

At the pool, Aunt Joanne showed Sally and Max some special techniques for swimming and treading water. She explained how important it was for astronauts to be strong swimmers and comfortable in the water.

Sally and Max were impressed with Aunt Joanne’s skills, and they tried to copy her moves. Aunt Joanne was patient and encouraging, and soon Sally and Max were feeling more confident in the water.

After their swim, Aunt Joanne took Sally and Max to her home office to show them her work at NASA. She explained how important it was to design spacesuits that can withstand the harsh environment of space and keep astronauts safe.

Sally and Max were amazed by all the cool technology and gadgets in Aunt Joanne’s office. They felt inspired by Aunt Joanne’s work and couldn’t wait to learn more about science and engineering.

As they went to bed that night, Sally and Max felt grateful for their amazing auntie, Aunt Joanne. They realized that science and engineering could be used to achieve incredible things, like designing spacesuits and exploring the mysteries of space. And they were excited to continue learning from Aunt Joanne and their other smart and inspiring aunties.
