Sally and Max Climb the High Dive

    16 Feb 2026 Sally & Max's Adventures

Once upon a sunny day, Sally and Max went to their local swimming pool to cool off and have some fun. They were so excited to jump into the water and splash around. As they arrived, they saw a boy named Noah playing by himself in the shallow end of the pool.

“Hey, do you want to play with us?” Sally asked.

“Sure! I would love to,” Noah replied.

Sally, Max, and Noah started playing games in the pool and splashing each other with water. Sally and Max noticed a diving board at the deep end of the pool, and they had never jumped off one before.

“Hey, let’s go jump off the diving board!” Max said excitedly.

Sally was hesitant at first, but Noah cheered her on. “Come on, Sally, it’s so much fun!” he said.

With Noah’s encouragement, Sally decided to give it a try. They all swam over to the deep end of the pool, and Sally climbed up the ladder to the diving board. She was shaking with excitement and fear at the same time.

“Don’t worry, Sally. We’re right here,” Max said, holding her hand.

Sally took a deep breath and jumped off the board, splashing into the water. She came up laughing and yelling with excitement.

    “That was amazing!” Sally shouted.

Max and Noah were cheering her on, and Sally felt like she could do anything. She climbed up the ladder again and jumped off the diving board, this time with more confidence.

The three friends took turns jumping off the diving board and practicing their different tricks. Noah did a cannonball, Max did a belly flop, and Sally did a perfect dive. They were all having so much fun and laughing so hard.

After they finished jumping off the diving board, they continued to play and swim around in the pool. Sally and Max felt grateful to have made a new friend like Noah, who encouraged them to try something new and helped them overcome their fears.

As the day came to an end, Sally, Max, and Noah said their goodbyes, promising to come back to the pool and play together again soon. Sally and Max learned that sometimes it takes a little encouragement from a friend to try something new and exciting, and they were grateful for Noah’s support.
