December 28, 2018, was a special day for BIC. Our North India Sales Head, Mr Gaurav Gupta, had the honour of being invited by the Department of Water Supply & Sanitation, Punjab to educate newly appointed Junior Engineers (JEs) on the uses as well as quality standards of cast iron soil pipes and fittings.
The induction training programme was attended by 180 JEs along with veteran Executive Engineers and Chief Engineers. Gaurav’s lecture focussed mainly on what engineers should look out for when selecting and evaluating cast iron soil pipes and fittings as per IS 1729:2002.
