Plumbing shop drawings, HVAC shop drawings are technical drawings of elaborate figures that explain the position of HVAC systems in a building or on its territory. These drawings also provide the workers, engineers, and installers with a clear representation of the system’s components as well as the connections and dimensions that the system will stand. HVAC shop drawings exclude other architectural aspects of the construction. Hence, as with architectural drawings, they are not prone to interference from other constructions.

Who Is Responsible For Making HVAC Shop Drawings?

Of course, such drawings must be made by specialized personnel, such as technical draughts who cooperate with mechanical engineers and architects. The process starts with the evaluation of the design documents and specifications. The HVAC shop drawings physically enable the theoretical HVAC system by showing where the ducts, diffusers, vents, exhausts, equipment, and other items will be located.
